At Southwest Michigan Financial LLC, we are more than your typical “Financial Advisor”. We are both Fiduciaries and financial educators. It is our philosophy that each client deserves to have their own customized and individualized written retirement investment plan and income plan, and not the usual cookie-cutter plan that another financial advisor might utilize. Each client of ours receives a unique retirement plan that shows them the path that allows them to achieve their own short-term and long-term goals in retirement.

Our underlying retirement investment philosophy revolves around properly managing your losses in retirement. It’s no longer enough to simply be investing your retirement funds in the stock market and hoping the next financial bubble won’t cut the value of your retirement nest egg in half like many people experienced in 2008 with the Real Estate bubble and banking crisis.

How We Help?
We believe in the importance of a proper financial education, and bringing our experience and years of teaching to as many people as possible by offering a FREE Retirement 101 class that is taught at various universities and colleges throughout Southwest Michigan. Those who attend the class then receive a free, no obligation, in-depth written retirement financial plan.
In addition to educating, finding creative ways to protect and grow our client’s assets is our main objective. We especially enjoy helping each new client bring together the many pieces of their retirement puzzle into a completed picture. Our specialty is creating investment strategies and income plans that are designed to maximize investing and portfolio performance based upon your individual investment objectives, time horizons, and risk tolerances.
